we wish everyone in america a great thanksgiving. it was tough for some folks from hurricane sandy, but we hope every single american in this country found a way to be able to celebrate thanksgiving with family and friends and lovedwe had a group of members, including new members, who were very excited and optimistic. the chairman said we leave the room truly believing that we can get this work done before december 31. we leave the room today believing there is no reason why we cannot get that done. just a couple points -- a bit of context. four years ago, if he checked the records, you will find four years ago in the month of november america bled 790,000 jobs. 790,000 americans lost their jobs four years ago. last month, the jobs report -- 180,000 new jobs created in this country. not as many as we want, but we're not losing jobs. we're certainly not hemorrhaging hundreds of thousands of jobs that we were four years ago. we are on the move, making progress, but as the president keeps and, we have to do more. this is not the time to
